National Convention Center II

   The second phase of the National Convention Center is located in the central area of the Olympic Park in Chaoyang District, Beijing, next to the Bird's Nest and the Water Cube. It consists of the main building and supporting buildings. The total construction size of the second phase of the National Convention Center is about 770,000 square meters. The main building is a three-story structure on the ground, with 19,000 square meters of exhibition hall, 8,000 square meters of conference hall, and 2,000 square meters of welcome hall. After completion, it will be mainly used to hold state, government affairs and high-end business exhibitions, and undertake the use of the main news center and international broadcasting center of the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics. In the future, it will be integrated with the current National Convention Center Phase I, forming a total scale of nearly 1.3 million square meters of exhibition complex.
